Thomas Edison State University, Excelsior College, and Charter Oak State Colleges all take a higher level of transfer credits than most schools.
At Thomas Edison: They state you may transfer and apply up to 90 credits.

For Excelsior: They state, "in Excelsior’s BS in Liberal Arts program, which does not place any time limits on transfer credits. In this program, you may transfer in as many as 106 credits, and then complete the remaining 16 credits at Excelsior."

Charter Oak State College: No more than 87 credits earned at two-year institutions can be credited toward an undergraduate degree program (unless deemed degree-applicable).

So, look at the programs offered, decide what you are aiming for, then enroll in the one which is the best fit. You can use their program requirements as a guide, take your exams and compile your portfolios before enrolling if you wish to avoid dealing with your counselor until you absolutely have to.
